• Welcome....
I would like to welcome you to my web site for the 2020-2021 school year.  There has been many exciting changes going on at the Frenchtown school district.  I am again teaching Title I Reading/Math for grades K-6.   I am very excited about our new year and getting the students reading.  My goals for the student's reading are as follows:

      1.  To develop a positive attitude and self-confidence by providing reading success
      2.  To supplement and support the classroom reading instruction
      3.  To make a plan that will improve student's reading skills
      4.  To foster an enjoyment of books and encourage reading as a leisure activity

I currently live in Missoula, but have lived off and on in this area for 35 years.  This will be my 20th year of teaching at Frenchtown Elementary.  I have a Elementary degree from the University of Montana and a degree in Health Enhancement from Arizona State University.  In the past I have been a 5th grade, 4th grade, Title I, and kindergarten teacher.  I have also taught Health Enhancement for 7 years at Frenchtown.  I am currently teaching Reading/Math Title I for grades 2 and 3.   I have a daughter ( "DJ "Johnson) who graduated from Hellgate High School. I think Frenchtown a great place to teach and look forward to another great year.
